To Judge or Not To Judge: That is the question

Every now and then I hear people say that we are not supposed to judge others. Most of them love to quote Matthew 7:1.

“Do not judge,

or you too will be judged”

This Scripture is usually presented after The Offending Party (judger) informs an individual or group of individuals that certain activities are sinful.

The Offended Party (judged) generally knows that the activity fits the biblical definition of sin. Seldom do they dispute the judgment; however, they reject the right of any person to make a judgment.

The demand not to judge isn’t just from some Bible readers; many non-believers hold this same belief.

Is it proper to judge another person or not?

~I shall attempt to answer this question both~

Logically & Theologically

Question: How do people form the idea that they are being judged? Answer: They make a judgment! Conclusion: It is impossible to accuse someone of judging without the accuser convicting himself of judging!

It is also impossible to live a normal rational life judgment free! Everyone makes judgments all the time. Without judging we would have the functionality of infants; therefore, we could not survive in our environment.

“We judge without thinking.”

We judge without thinking. We wait for the lights to change before crossing the street, because we judge that a car may hit us if we walk against the red light. We even wait to see if the driver of the approaching car is judging the stop light and acts accordingly.

“We teach our children”

We teach our children to never talk to strangers, because we haven’t had the opportunity to judge them and we do not trust our children’s judgment. We avoid people who appear threatening, because we believe that it is better to be safe than sorry. We judge the bathtub temperature, because we do not want the water too cold or too hot. As parents, we judge the folks our kids bring into our house irrespective of what our own children say about them. Judgments are necessary and vital for our very survival.

Let’s take another look at Matt 7:1 expanded to include verses 2-5:

                                                           Matt 7:1-5
“Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. “Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye. (NIV)

 holy experiment

The warning is to judge correctly and not hypocritically. The person offering the judgment must make sure he or she is in a right position to make the judgment. There is absolutely no admonition not to judge wrong behavior; however, if our lives are unsound, we are in no position to tell others they are unsound.

For example, two men have been drinking buddies for years. Both men meet every evening around the same time and share a few beers. They generally drink enough to get slightly intoxicated, but not drunk. One man started drinking liquor in addition to the beer. The liquor caused him to act belligerent. His friend noticed the change and tried to address it, but the other man said, “You’re a drunk too!” Even though the drinking buddy knew his friend was getting out of control, he should have sober himself up first (removed the plank from his own eye) before trying to help his friend. Those opposed to judging may be surprised to discover that the BIBLE commands Christians to judge!

“Those opposed to judging may be surprised to discover that the BIBLE commands Christians to judge!”

                                                          Matt 7:15-20
Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? Likewise every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them (NIV)
How do we watch out for false prophets? How do we recognize wolves from sheep? Do people eat fruit before looking at it? Jesus clearing stated that we must judge those who claim to represent Him! How many of you would give your life savings to a man offering you a 30% return on your money? Have you ever received an email offering you 10 million dollars from some lady trying to escape Africa? All she needs is to wire the money into your account. Once you provide your personal identification, she will send the money. Would you accept the offer?

Would you accept the offer?c11_salt-and-light1

Christians are called to be salt and light: to defend the faith and to give God all the honor and glory. We must live a life worthy of our calling and thus be in a non-hypocritical position to judge if and when judgments are necessary. However, we must also be kind and respectful.

 Final Thoughts:
It is always better to tell people what they need to know instead of only telling them what they want to hear. If we truly love people, we will honor that love with truth that helps and heals; instead of a placebo that pacifies, and leaves the person no better off than they were before we engaged them.

Since I attempted to answer the question of judging

both logically and theologically,
I must ask ONE final question.

What is your judgment?

$50.00 Can’t Fill My Tank!

A few days ago I went to a gas station and put $50.00 in my tank. It was $50.00 of the cheapest unleaded I could find and my tank still wasn’t full! I looked around at the other people buying gas and thought that I was in a scene from the Walking Dead!

No one was complaining or saying anything. They just had this dazed look about themselves. But a few years ago, people were screaming when gas rose above $3.00 a gallon. What happened? I wondered if I was in an episode of the Twilight Zone.

Just about five years ago, any spike in gas prices was all over the news. There were stories about people trying to figure out how they were going to buy enough gas to go to work. Reporters stationed themselves at gas stations and found people that had to decide if they would buy gas or food.   Gas High Pix

Thought Process:

Gas or Food? 4005273-red-gas-pumpcartoon-food-picture

Where are those stories?

Where is the outcry?

Where are the pressitutes?

Even my friends appear obvious to these astronomical prices. They were enraged at $3.00 plus gas prices, but I hear nary a peep from them regarding these $4.00 plus prices. What happened? Did the government pass out free gas cards and I didn’t get one? Am I alone? Am I the only one suffering? Or am I really in the Twilight Zone?

I remember the 70’s when I had to get in a gas line at 3:00 A.M.  Everyone was complaining. Today there is no line and there is
plenty of gas, but the prices are so high that many of us can’t afford to pump it. Since it appears that no one is complaining and the media isn’t concerned, maybe this is just a bad dream and I will wake up. Or maybe if I walk around the back of the station away from the gas tanks, I will spot Rod Serling puffing on a cigarette. I just don’t know? Rod Serling

Happy New Year

Return to the cross from whence life came.
Return to the blood where salvation reigns.

He covered your sins once and for all.
He redeemed mankind after the fall.
God alone paid the price.
To him alone give your life.
Share not his honor with another.
He is your shield, cloak and cover.
He is the wondrous savior of all.
To all who live both far and near
The need for salvation is very clear.
Call on Jesus, He will hear,
Then you will have Happy New Year

The Lady of Encouragement

[one_half first]A long road home sm

Artist: Laneea[/one_half]

Sometimes I feel unsure of myself. I have doubts, frustrations and insecurities. I wonder about finances, my children, world events and the unknown. When these doubts arise, I lean on the Lord. Although I lean on Him all the time, these are the times when I hold Him as close as possible. Yet the flesh still fights me and I have to ignore it as I walk by faith.

Sometimes God gives us another perspective. He helps us to realize that what we think is difficult is nothing at all. About a week ago, my wife and I went to Wal-Mart to buy some groceries. We discussed our bills and the normal problems of the day, as we walked through the store. Then I noticed a lady in a wheel chair. There is nothing unusual about a lady in a wheel chair, except this lady didn’t have any legs.

Now a legless lady in a wheel chair is not unusual either. Looking at this lady from her right side, I noticed that her right arm did not have a hand. Now that was unusual. This lady had no legs and no right hand, only a stub at the wrist. I immediately realized that my small problems were insignificant compared to hers. She had no legs, but I had two and was walking. She had no right hand, and I had two which are fully functional.

My wife and I continued our shopping and were just about to get in line when I saw the lady again from the left side. Then I noticed that at the end of her left arm was another stub. She had no hands at all!

I did not know how to feel. Here I was moaning about stupid stuff which in the long run mattered little, and I was watching a lady with no legs, and no hands shopping like folks with all of their extremities. I did not feel pity for her. I found myself admiring her courage and dignity. I wondered if I would have the courage she displayed under those circumstances. That is a question I cannot answer. What I can answer is that I was ashamed to sink into self doubt and insecurity. God showed me a woman who could have recoiled in the corner of her world, but “walked” in utmost dignity! I prayed for her and myself. I asked God to bless that lady. I also asked Him to never allow me to forget her. If I ever find myself feeling doubtful, insecure or frustrated, I asked God to bring her back to my memory. For by overcoming her circumstances, she demonstrated to me that with God, I have nothing to overcome.

Sometimes I’m wondering about nothing. Other times I’m wondering about everything. I wonder about life today as compared to when I was a child. Things seemed so innocent then, but then again, I was a child. I may not have noticed the less than innocent nature of man at that time.

I wonder about God. These days he encompasses my whole life. In younger years, I placed God on the back burner. I always believed in Him, but I did not always serve Him. I always felt a responsibility to Him, but for a time I didn’t embrace that responsibility. Could it be as I approach my later years, that my godly fixation is the desire for continued existence? Maybe it is, but could it also be the realization of an unfulfilled life without Him?

I wonder about people and how they adorn themselves. I see men constantly defying gravity with pants hanging below their buttocks and women with tattoos across their cleavage. There was a time when men were admonished for staring at a women’s cleavage. These days’, staring seems to be required. How else is one to examine the art or read the documentation inscribed across the mounds of womanhood? While even the sight of calligraphy enhanced breast may not be totally unpleasant, I still wonder what makes a man walk around with his butt hanging out.

I wonder about schools and how they teach. Schools are constantly asking for more money for the children. Yet, young innovative teachers cannot gain a foothold in the educational system, because nonproductive tenured teachers must be protected. Kids are constantly promoted upwards until they find themselves out of school with a diploma they are unable to read.

I wonder about the poor always having the worse schools, teachers and equipment, but they seem to always vote for the same folks that only offer new lies. This really makes me wonder. Corporal punishment is out, but abortions are in. Educators can take students to get abortions in some states without parental consent, but parents that physically discipline their children risk being arrested.

I wonder why we pay excessively high prices for foreign gas, when we could pump our own. If we drilled and consume our own oil, prices would go down and more people would be working. If more people are working, more people would be paying taxes and buying merchandise which would help the overall economy.

I wonder why so many people claim to be Christians, but refuse to obey Christ. They do not have to obey Christ, it isn’t against the law. So why fake it? If God is God, He knows who is faking and who is truthful. These people may fool others, but they will never fool God. I’m just wondering what they are thinking.

I wonder what will become of America in 50 years. As a child, we celebrated God and country. Now we celebrate ourselves.

I wonder, are you wondering too?

Why Does Man Seek To Make God In His Own Image

There was a time when men would seek God by searching the Scriptures. Men would humble themselves and submit to the will of God as they discovered the thoughts of God within the Bible. Men would re-direct their lives based on what the Word of God said and if that Word conflicted with what men believed, the beliefs of men would change.

America was a haven for those who sought the true living God; because in America, God was still on the throne. Refugees of God dishonoring nations would kiss the ground of the United States, because not only could they freely worship the Almighty, they knew that God blessed America. God always blessed nations which respect and honor Him, but curses await nations that dishonor the Almighty.

Today, America is approaching the edge of destruction. Yet she claims to still “love” God? Unfortunately the god she loves is not the one revealed in the Bible. This god was formed in the reprobate minds of men, seeking to fashion a god from their fleshly desires.

This god has the appearance of the Biblical God, but manifests the power of Satan. His followers avoid Scriptures which denounce homosexuality, fornication, adultery, divination, sorcery, damnation and other perversions. He promoted beliefs which are completely antithetical to the biblically revealed will of God.

This god honors the logical concepts of man and the prevailing wisdom of the lost masses. This god has always demanded the destruction of biblical marriage. He views abortion as a choice to be “enjoyed” by all and proudly proclaimed throughout the nation. Whereas, the biblical God forms the unborn in the womb, this god rips them out of the womb.

This god alters and minimizes the Word of God, just like he did in offering the fruit to Eve. He seduces all who listens to him and gives them false assurances. He convinces them to NOT read the Bible regularly or submissively, but to read it sparingly and within ‘limits”. He wants people in the church house, but he doesn’t want the church inside people. His strength is in the large numbers he convinces. By gathering and sharing is mutual destruction, they convince each other that what they believe is good and acceptable.

Prov 3:5-8
Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil. It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones. (KJV)

It is not too late for America. God is merciful and He listens to the cries of His children. But He will not be mocked. America must fall on her knees and repent! If we fail to acknowledge the Almighty with truth and righteousness, we will pay the price all other nations paid which turned away from Him. He cannot spare America and remain true to Himself.

I call on all believers to seek God. Pray for America. Turn away from satanic influenced beliefs and practices. Turn away for marginalized worship. Turn away from “partially” serving God. We must show God how we really feel about Him. Let’s give Him all we have; because He already gave His all to us. How can we do any less?

What is a 21st Century Christian?

The disciples knew. Polycarp knew. Bonheoffer knew, and Jesus definitely knows. But do the claimants of Christianity know what it means to be a Christian in the 21st Century? Just calling oneself a Christian today is insufficient. These days we must define our definition of Christianity beyond the denominational sense. Diversity in the Body of Christ pertaining to modes of baptism, gifts of the Spirit or the various forms of worship do not violate the fundamental principles of Christianity. However, in the 21st Century, some would have us abandon unchangeable biblical mandates. Those people presumably fall into one of three camps:
(1) They have either abandoned the faith.
(2) They do not understand what they claim to believe.
(3) They seek to destroy Christianity.

Romans 10:9-10
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (KJV)

Many people believe that in order to be a Christian all you have to do is recite Romans 10:9-10. While the confession of faith is the first step, one needs to continue walking. The failure to continue walking leads to spiritual atrophy. As Christians, we must believe that Jesus died for our sins and was raised from the dead. Yet some people seem to forget that although salvation is free, it will cost them everything. Salvation is not a get out of hell free card. God freely saves the sinner and the sinner freely declares total allegiance, obedience and submission to the will of God.

Called to carry the Cross
Luke 9:23 Then he said to them all: “If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me. (NIV)

Christians must deny themselves of everything which prevents them from following Jesus. If what is being done cannot be done in the Lord’s presence, it must be discarded. The attitude of denial must accompany the believer’s daily walk.
Christ’s Slave
1 Cor 7:22-23 For he who was a slave when he was called by the Lord is the Lord’s freedman; similarly, he who was a free man when he was called is Christ’s slave. You were bought at a price; do not become slaves of men. (NIV)

Christian’s are Christ’s slaves. He purchased us with His blood. Our lives are hid in Christ; therefore, the desires of Christ should be our desires. Col 3:1-3. The slave seeks to please his master and the Master of Christians is Jesus Christ.

Absolute Obedience
John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments. (KJV)
Mark 7:6-7 He replied, “Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you hypocrites; as it is written: “‘These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. They worship me in vain; their teachings are but rules taught by men.’ (NIV)

Why do people who claim to love Jesus, refuse to obey His commandments? He set the parameters! He did not equivocate, nor did He speak in parables concerning this matter. He was extremely clear! If you love me, keep my commandments. The meaning cannot be misunderstood. It can only be accepted or denied. The failure to keep His commandments is the failure to love Him. His opinion is the only one that counts; therefore, those who fail to obey, but still claim allegiances to Christ are only fooling themselves.

True Love
The love of Christ is often spoken of these days, but the judgment isn’t, why is that? I hear all the time about how loving and forgiving God is, but I rarely hear about is the coming judgment against the wicked.

1 Cor 6:9-11 Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God. (NIV)

1 Pet 1:16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy. (KJV)

God commands us to be holy. This is not a request. He has provided us with the power to live a life of holiness. Although we will not be perfected until the resurrection, we can and must strive for holiness. We cannot live an unholy and willfully disobedient life, and remain in the will of God! We must submit to His will, not ours.

To state it simply, a Christian is a person whose body mind and spirit belong to Christ and he or she lives in that vessel for the sole purpose of serving Christ. The love Christians have for Christ must be greater than the love for anything in this world. This love must not only be stated, but demonstrated.

I Jn 2:15-16 Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For everything in the world– the cravings of sinful man, the lust of his eyes and the boasting of what he has and does– comes not from the Father but from the world. (NIV)

When Jehovah Witnesses Call, Don’t Hide, Evangelize!

In 2011, the Jehovah Witnesses claimed to have preached worldwide an astonishing 1,707,094,710 hours! That means Witnesses performed 142,257,893 door to door preaching hours per month or 4,676,971.81 hours a day. They also claim to have accomplished this with only 7,659,019 witnesses worldwide; therefore, each witness averaged 223 hours a year or one hour of door to door witnessing every day! The unprepared Christian will be at a considerable disadvantage when the well trained Witness arrives at the door.

Some people refuse to answer the door. Others engage the witnesses, but get lost in a game of biblical ping pong. Many become frustrated at their inability to penetrate the Watchtower built around the Witness, and simply give up. There is a way to break through!

The Christian need not fear an encounter with Jehovah Witnesses. Christ called us to witness to everyone, including Jehovah Witnesses. This can be done quickly and easily. Instead of being intimated by Jehovah Witnesses, Christians can lovingly put them on the defensive very quickly, while simultaneously sowing seeds of doubt in the mind of the Witness.

Pray, pray, pray. Pray that God brings Witnesses to your door, and pray that you will have the right words when they come. Pray silently while they are visiting, and pray for them when they leave. Pray for them whenever they cross your mind. I still pray for Witnesses I met years ago. I have no idea where they are, or if they have surrendered to God. It only takes a few minutes whenever they cross my mind to place them before the throne of the Almighty.

Have the right attitude. The salvation of lost souls is the only goal. Never seek to win an argument. It is better to lose the argument and win the soul.

NEVER TRY TO TEACH JEHOVAH WITNESSES! Jehovah Witnesses believe that they are the only ones who understand the Bible. If you attempt to teach them, they will shut down and not listen to you. They have been taught that non-Jehovah Witnesses cannot properly interpret the Bible. Since the Watchtower programmed them to have all of the answers, let them teach you! They will jump at the opportunity to answer your questions; therefore, ask them questions designed to expose their false religion, lack of biblical knowledge, and sow the seeds of doubt all at the same time.

Either Jesus rose bodily or He is a Liar. Jehovah Witnesses are taught that Jesus’ body was destroyed after the crucifixion. They believe that he materialized bodies as needed to convince his followers that he was resurrected. (Witnesses cannot even see the deception in that statement.) Your goal is to make them see the deception by sowing seeds of doubt with Scriptures they cannot refuted or reason away. They will attempt to give an answer, but unless they are ready to get out of the Watchtower, the answer will never be correct. To agree destroys their theology, and the must protect the Watchtower at all cost.

ASK THE WITNESS TO READ AND EXPLAIN THE FOLLOWING TEXT. If they agree with the text, the Watchtower is wrong, if they do not agree, Jesus is a liar.

John 2:18-22
Then the Jews demanded of him, “What miraculous sign can you show us to prove your authority to do all this?” Jesus answered them, “Destroy this temple, and I will raise it again in three days.” The Jews replied, “It has taken forty-six years to build this temple, and you are going to raise it in three days?” But the temple he had spoken of was his body. After he was raised from the dead, his disciples recalled what he had said. Then they believed the Scripture and the words that Jesus had spoken. (NIV)

They have walked into the trap. The Jehovah Witness will read the passage and possibly state what it clearly says without realizing that it contradicts Watchtower doctrine. Ask the Witness a question similar to this, “I am a little confused. I was told that Jehovah Witnesses do not believe that Jesus was raised in his own body. But these Scriptures clearly state that he was. Can you explain this to me?”

They cannot give an honest answer. The Witness will attempt to answer your question. Remember in their minds, they have the “truth” and we don’t. But they will NOT give a correct answer. They will revert to their theology that Jesus manufactured bodies to convince his followers that he was resurrected. If you inform them that Jesus must have lied if he made up temporary bodies to “fool” is followers into believing that it was him, they may attempt to lead you down a rabbit trail. Don’t go! Tell them that you must resolve this conflict before venturing to another topic. Remember; never appear threatening or overtly confrontational. Sincerely seek an answer, if they can give you a good one, evaluate it. Remember, their answers will not work.

Beware of reverse traps!
Mark 16:12
After that he appeared in another form unto two of them, as they walked, and went into the country. (KJV)

The Jehovah Witness will use Mark 16:12 as proof that Jesus appeared in another form.

The Jehovah Witness will either use a King James Bible or the New World Translation (NWT) which they created. Although the KJV is a very good Bible, there are many questions pertaining to the ending of Mark Chapter 16. The KJV was translated in 1611 mostly from the Septuagint; however, older manuscripts have been found which ends at verse 8. Most modern versions of the Bible will indicate in footnotes or margins that verses 9 -20 are questionable and probably not part of the original text. Even the NWT acknowledges two separate endings.

To accept verses 9 – 20 would mean that baptism is a requirement for salvation (verse 16)-which is a work, and (verse 18) believers can handle snakes and drink poisons. I do find too many people living who are engaging in those activities.

These doctrines are not found in any other parts of the Bible; therefore, one shouldn’t base his eternal destiny on those questionable “Scriptures” alone.

Jesus was not recognized

There are several post resurrection Scriptures in which the disciples did not recognized Jesus. Jehovah Witnesses will attempt to use them to convince you that Jesus took up other bodies. Never forget the main premise, if he did, he still lied. The explanation is that Jesus prevented people from recognizing him until he was ready for them to.

Luke 24:13-16
Now that same day two of them were going to a village called Emmaus, about seven miles from Jerusalem. They were talking with each other about everything that had happened. As they talked and discussed these things with each other, Jesus himself came up and walked along with them; but they were kept from recognizing him. (NIV)

Walter Martin once used the analogy that a hypnotist could make a person forgot people by giving that person a shot of mental Novocain. The hypnotist uses suggestion to block the mind of the subject; Jesus could do the same thing by his sovereign will. In the above stated Scriptures as well as the others in which Jesus was not recognized, he delayed the disciples’ ability to recognize him until he wanted them to. At no point did the Scriptures ever say that it wasn’t Jesus.
If you study the remainder of Luke Ch. 24 along with John Ch 20:26-30, you will have ammunition Witnesses must refute but can’t. They may display a confident face to go along with their distorted logic, but they will not bring the truth. Since they must either renounce Jesus as a liar, or accept him as the bodily resurrected Lord, they will twist in the wind, because they can do neither!
Let the Jehovah Witness leave with integrity. It is always better to lose the argument and win the soul. They will already feel defeated even if they do not show it. How would you feel if you thought you had all the answers, but ended up in a non-defensible position?

God is sovereign and worthy of all praise! He gave us all the answers we need to use against the cults. Once the seeds of doubt have been sown, back off and continue to be gracious. Only the power of God can breakdown through the clay walls of the Watchtower; therefore pray, pray and pray some more that the Jehovah Witnesses will see the real Jesus Christ and submit to His will.

Shall The Church Give Satan A Hand?

I like many other kids growing up in the late fifties read comic books. I was a D.C. comic book fan. Everyone had a favorite superhero. Most kids chose Superman or Batman, but I wanted to be different. My superhero was the Green Lantern. No other superhero had a ring which could project itself into any object or weapon he chose. Needless to say, I was shocked at the announcement that D.C. Comics was converting my favorite childhood superhero into a homosexual! Shall the church give Satan a hand?

Although shocked, I am not surprised, because the homosexual community has stormed out of the closet and is driving the church headlong into the cellar. I admire their efforts, tenacity, patience, and determination. They set about a course to change society many years ago, and never looked back. Shall the church give Satan a hand?

In October 2011, I watched the pilot of the most vile television cartoon I had ever seen, the Allen Gregory Show. It revolved around an obnoxious young boy being raised by homosexual parents. On Allen’s first day at a public school, he fantasized having sexual relations with his sixty plus year old female principal. Allen’s father and his male companion intimated a desire to engage in activities unsuitable for public viewing.

This show was so repulsive that I sent emails to some pastors, family members and anyone else I could think of in an attempt to sound the alarm. I emailed the network and notified the FCC of what I considered indecent programming. Outside of an obligatory written response from the FCC, all of my efforts only received the sound of crickets. Shall the church give Satan a hand?

My schizophrenic home state of California constantly elects politicians that favor “homosexual marriage”. These politician consistently place homosexual supporting judges on the bench. Californians voted TWICE to keep marriage between one man and one woman, and each time some judge rejected the will of the people. I asked my brother in-law who claims to supports traditional marriage, “Why do you continue to vote for politicians who always in act laws or appoint judges that fight against traditional marriage?” He said, “Republicans won’t let that happen!” Really! Shall the church give Satan a hand?

I asked another relative since she is a Christian and believes that abortion is a sin, why does she continue to vote for people that support the very things she claims to be against, she said, “I love you, but we won’t have this conversation.” Shall the church give Satan a hand?

I started spreading the news about this latest assault on Christianity and our children by the homosexual community and their allies. Some of the very people who always vote for people determined to abort babies and sanitize homosexually, expressed anger and dismay at the information. I still don’t think they have connected the dots! Once again, shall the church give Satan a hand?

Sometime during the past fifty years we lost our moral compass. Although we have advanced technologically, we lost the fear of God. Fifty years ago, neither D.C. Comics, nor any other traditional comic book company would have dared subjected our children to images of men kissing and caressing each other. The citizenry wouldn’t have stood for it. Pastors would have protested against it, and politicians would have demanded investigations. But today, some “pastors” are actively asking their congregations to embrace “homosexual marriage”. The media is promoting it, and politicians are seeking to legalize it. Unfortunately, a large segment of the church is apathetic towards it. Shall the church give Satan a hand?

As the homosexual community continues their efforts to redefine marriage with the help of the media, schools, celebrities and politicians, what will the church do? Will the Bride of Christ rise up and protect the sanctity of marriage, or will she just continue to give Satan a hand at destroying it?

Saggy Pants Maybe Good For The Economy

1. Sagging requires a constant supply of different underwear. Saggers can’t be seen in the same shorts every day.

2. Sagging encourages exercise. Since half naked butt showing rappers are buffed, flabby butt imitators wouldn’t look good.

3. Sagging requires a constant supply of clean underwear. No one wants to be seen in dirty drawers. Besides, we’ve always been warned to wear clean underwear just in case we in up in the emergency room.

4. Sagging should stimulate the fastener industry. Belts alone cannot make those pants defy gravity! The wearers must supplement belts with safety pins, Velcro or some other fastener.

5. Sagging reduces crime. The skill required to steal, sag and run must be exceptional. It is less likely that criminals are able to run faster and jump higher with pants falling. Holding pants with one hand, and a weapon in the other, will leave no hands for the booty. A potential theft must choose between protecting his booty or taking the booty!

6. Sagging sells pants! The constant dragging of oversized pants shreds them. If only there was a secondary market for the ladies, but they wear shredded pants legs not pants cuffs.

7. Sagging is culturally relevant? That is what some people claim. Thus far, I haven’t been able to locate that culture. Maybe I could find them on the National Geographic or Discovery Channel? I’ll keep looking.

8 Sagging could revolutionize underwear advertising. No longer will Calvin Klein, Hanes or Fruit of the Loom need to shell out millions to the media for advertisement. All they need to do is pass out thousands of boxer shorts to this sagging nation of walking billboards and watch the cash walk, I mean sag in.
