Syncretistic Satanism and the Red Letter Rebuttal Pt. 1

coexist

America has a new unofficial “official” religion. Only the shadow of Christianity remains acceptable.  This new religion doesn’t flow from living water, but gushes from rusted pipes. Adherents are called to embrace ambiguity, due to its constantly evolving foundation. What was wrong is no longer knowable. What was true is no longer tolerable. The only permanence is today; nevertheless, Syncretistic Satanism is being systematically forced on the populous whether we want it or not. My Response to an Unbeliever!

1 Peter 3:15 But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect. Continue reading My Response to an Unbeliever!

Should We Dump Christianity?

That’s right! Maybe we should chuck the whole thing, because we couldn’t do any worse! When the church began, Christians were identified by their total allegiance to Christ. They proclaimed Jesus as Lord and refused to bestow that title on anyone else. Continue reading Should We Dump Christianity?

Call Me What You Will

BThumper

I was called pugnacious and that’s okay, it was a compliment in a funny sort of way. Called a Bible thumper too! But I don’t mind, because, with the Bible I spend a whole lot of time. When I was a child, kids called me bullet, because of the shape of my head. I learned to take all they said.

bullet
I was also poor, which my clothes did tell. For that, I caught additional hell. Through it all I did survive. I decided to love myself and created my own pride. As I became older self-esteem grew, until I blossomed into a world class fool! But for me the time did come, when I heard the call from God’s only Son.
Foundation Bible picI surrendered all to Christ and accepted his trade. He took my sins and also my grave. In return, my life became His, and to His glory I decided to live.

Once again my friends decided to call me names, but they don’t affect me the same.  I’m not mad at my friends and I wish them well. After all, I don’t want them to enter hell.  The place set aside for Satan and his crew, is certainly not the place for me, them, or you.

hell

They can call me what they want, and have their fun. I just pray that one day they will consider God’s Son.
He also called them, when He called for me. They would think differently if they could see what I see.
To see true love and what it means, is to follow Jesus on that narrow path to eternity.

Some will seek another road and that’s okay, but once that door shuts, there they will stay. My love for them comes from above. Only God can teach that kind of love. Love that will pay any price. Just for the opportunity to talk about Christ.  This is my plea, and I hope they understand, the message from this aggressive, Bible thumping, gun totting, Holy Ghost filled Christian man.

Jesus of the Crickets and the Destruction of America

CricketDid you know that there was more than one Jesus and a different gospel? Well there are and the Bible warns us about those counterfeits.

But I am afraid that just as Eve was deceived by the serpent’s cunning, your minds may somehow be led astray from your sincere and pure devotion to Christ. For if someone comes to you and preaches a Jesus other than the Jesus we preached, or if you receive a different spirit from the one you received, or a different gospel from the one you accepted, you put up with iteasily enough. 2 Cor 11:3-4 NIV Continue reading Jesus of the Crickets and the Destruction of America

Down From Heaven

Some Things to Think About!

SET thinkingWe love some liars so much, that we lie to ourselves in an effort to believe their lies!

The only people not in need of prayers are those below ground.

Time with God is no time at all unless time with God is all the time

Christians were never asked to have blind faith. It is not God’s fault that the biblically illiterate can’t see. Continue reading Some Things to Think About!

NBC PC Police and Selective Sensibilities

Who are these people that feel it is there position in life to tell us how to think? NBC and Bob Costas have a very selective view of political correctness. It is absolutely astonishing that a Network would simultaneously sell a product (The NFL) to the public while demonizing that product at the same time! If NBC was so outraged because of the name Redskins, why didn’t they forfeit the opportunity to show the Redskins play? Surely some less politically correct station would have carried the game. Love is Love? No! Jesus is Love!

Christianity is the most respected religion the world has ever known. It changed the course of many nations. It elevated the status of woman and the poor. It created hospitals and schools of high learning and inspired man to seek a scientific understanding of creation. Nevertheless, in the year of our Lord 2013, Christianity is called hateful!

In the eyes of the post-modern minded American, traditional thinking Christians have not evolved and are clinging to the former instead of embracing the new. Conflicts are unavoidable unless the Christian accepts a 21st century understanding of mankind in general and American society in particular. Today’s Christians are viewed as hateful, unloving, and intolerant of people seeking same sex relationships and marriages.

Is this true? Have Christians become unloving and hateful or has the American society become un-Christian? The biblical answer is that America has changed, not Christianity. America has turned away from the living God. That is, she wants the veneer of God with an ambiguous commitment to him. It is still proper and desirable to claim to be a Christian, but if God’s commandments conflict with the dictates of society, Christians are expected to defer to the wishes of society.

Many believers in same sex relationships think that one can be both a Christian and practice homosexuality. I will not debate the issue of homosexuality here as the Bible is very clear on that matter as stated in the books of Leviticus and Romans. I will explore the following:

What is a Christian?
What did Jesus command all Christians to do?
What is Love?
How do we express our love to Jesus Christ?

 What is a Christian?

Romans 10:9: That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (KJV)

I assume that many non-believers have heard these two versus at one time or another. Christians and Bible readers are very familiar with them. Nevertheless, many people fail to fully appreciate what the Apostle Paul wrote. No one wants to go to hell and if the invitation to salvation is given, many will respond. They are quick to accept the saving grace of God, but many miss the first and main component. Salvation is predicated on making Jesus LORD of your life!

Jesus is not a get out of jail card. You cannot just say save me Jesus and continue to be as you were. You must submit to him and the Holy Spirit will begin to change you. If you think being a Christian is accepting salvation in exchange for God’s acceptance of you to remain as you were, you are mistaken.

What did Jesus command all Christians to do?

Matthew 28:19: “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20″teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen. (NKJ)

The Christian is to first learn all about Christ and to observe (OBEY) everything he commands. No one can do this under his own power. Once the sinner submits his will to God’s will, the Holy Spirit will begin the process of sanctification; which means that God himself will empower the believer to shed everything which hinders him from having a pure relationship with the Almighty.

 What is Love?

I John 4:7 Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. 8 Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. 9  This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. 10 This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. (NIV)

Yes, God is love! The love he gave to us is expressed in his son our Lord Jesus Christ.

How do we express our love of Jesus Christ?

John 14:15 “If you love Me, keep My commandments. (NKJ)

Regardless what the postmodern American thinks about Christianity, the Bible is very clear in that God does not change as stated in Malachi 3:6 and Hebrews 13:8. Therefore, real Christians cannot and will not change either. We must obey our Lord and recognize the works of the enemy. He will always divide before he attempts to conquer. Didn’t he seek Eve first before defeating Adam?

We respect everyone’s right to live, but no one has the right to circumvent the word or will of God.  We refuse to compromise our everlasting faith for the temporal conformity of this age. Christians must oppose same sex marriage and any other activity which the Bible calls abominable. We do not oppose people and seek the redemption of all, but the redeemed will be saved by receiving and accepting the truth and not a lie designed to make them feel good on their way to place of eternal separation from God.
